Civil Engineer (m/f/d) for our Business Development

Location: Luanda / Angola

Your tasks

  • Technical support for the management in the acquisition of projects and the development of new business fields and regional areas in Africa and Latin America
  • Preparation and participation in customer meetings and contract negotiations
  • Preparation of market and country analyses
  • Identification of projects in the fields of urban water management or transport
  • Preparation of expressions of interest, prequalifications, calculations and offers

Your profile

  • Successfully completed civil engineering studies
  • At least 5 years professional experience in the field of urban water management or transport in a technical planning / consulting company
  • Experience with tender procedures of development banks (e.g. KfW, World Bank) advantageous
  • Knowledge in construction contract law according to FIDIC as well as in project financing (especially ECA cover) desirable
  • Very good command of spoken and written German and Portuguese
  • Willingness to go on international business trips
  • Special negotiation skills and intercultural competence
  • High willingness to learn and perform as well as flexibility and team spirit
  • Strong contact and communication skills
  • Responsible and independent way of working
