GAUFF Engineering signs a memorandum of understanding with the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire

GAUFF Engineering and the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to modernise the electricity network. The signing took place on 15 May 2025 in Abidjan by the Director General for Energy, Ehouman Kalifa, and Romain Charlot, Director for French-speaking Africa at GAUFF Engineering. The objective of the EUR 306.5 million project is to improve and expand the electricity supply in regions that are already electrified in order to increase security of supply for customers.

Financing is to be provided by KfW IPEX-Bank. GAUFF is performing preliminary analyses to determine the supply and service requirements and the estimated costs for implementing the project and is supporting the government in securing financing.
