GAUFF Foundation supports “Hand on heart"
The GAUFF Foundation has donated €20,819.27 to the “Hand on heart” project for research and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in children and adolescents. “Hand on heart" is jointly supported by the paediatric cardiology department at Grosshadern Hospital and the Nicolas May Foundation. The donation is used where no other private or public cost contributions can be raised and supports research and further education in paediatric cardiology.
Michael Fischer, Managing Director of GAUFF Engineering, handed over the cheque on behalf of the GAUFF Foundation to Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Haas, Director of Paediatric Cardiology, at the symbolic cheque presentation on 20.02.2025 at Grosshadern Hospital.
The “Hand on heart” project makes a significant contribution to the early detection and improvement of medical care and quality of life for children with heart disease. Among other things, it has already been used to finance screening tests for heart disease for 1,300 schoolchildren.
“The Gauff family and we are particularly committed to helping affected children and their families. With this donation, the GAUFF Foundation would like to help ensure that this valuable initiative can continue to do good,” says Michael Fischer.
With this support, the GAUFF Foundation is underlining its long-standing commitment to social and medical causes.
