Background
Since 2005 GAUFF Engineering has been carrying out infrastructure projects in Angola, especially in the field of drinking water supply and road construction. These projects support the targeted development of the country as well in urban as in rural areas and they are improving, amongst others, the hygienic, social and ecological conditions
Project
Through GAUFF Foundation, an extension and improvement of the drinking water supply to the small town of Toco, situated within the province of Huila, appr. 35 km North West of Lubango. The growing population and the new construction of a medical clinic and a youth centre demanded for a supplementary well and an extended equipment of the supply grid. The extraction of water from a depth of appr. 45 m is effected by a solar powered well pump.
