Our Head Office Nuremberg

Any information as well as all technical and commercial data of our national and international infrastructural and consulting projects come together at GAUFF Engineering’s head office in Nuremberg. There, all data and information are processed, analysed and evaluated by round about seventy colleagues coming from twenty different nations, hand in hand as a team. This makes our headquarters the key element and cornerstone for our entrepreneurial acting. 

Our experts in the head office work closely with their colleagues on site in the respective project countries and offer continuous support and consulting in order to provide the very best service to our customers.

The areas domestic market, Europa and Africa, subdivided in francophone, lusophone and anglophone Africa, as well as our countries with special projects are supported by the largest division of the headquarters in Nuremberg, the engineering department, with its civil engineers, draftsmen and technicians, in the following special fields:

• Special field planning for water, waste water, energy, district heating, roads, traffic infrastructure,
  airports, environment and survey
• Special field construction management for the tendering, the local construction supervision and the site management as
  well as the safety and health protection during the construction (SiGeKo)
• Special field project management and project control
• Special field procurement

Furthermore, the engineering department with its specialized team IMS (Integrated Management System for Quality and Environment) is responsible for achieving the annual certification of our work processes according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (Qualitiy Management) and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and also monitors the compliance with standards.

New employees who are not hired for an assignment in Germany but for an international project usually start their work activities with an induction period of several weeks at our head office. They are trained in our special contract types EPPM (Engineering, Procurement, Project Management) and EPC + F (Engineering, Procurement, Construction + Financing) and their respective necessities according to the different export credit insurances. In addition to that, they are taught the requirements for successful project financing by our specialist team "Export Financing".

Last but not least, the controlling department, the accounting, the human resources department, public relations, IT as well as the general organisation and the legal department are based in our head office. They all support our projects worldwide as a commercial back office.
