Education & Training

We are dedicated to the principle of acting locally. In other words, the areas where we pursue business
are areas where we support training.

In Nuremberg, where our company is headquartered, we support the Civil Engineering faculty at the 
Technischen Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, (University of Technology) by sponsoring a
lecture hall and by awarding scholarships, working student contracts or work placements in order to
bring students one step closer to their aspired careers. By arranging guest lectures on the specific
features and challenges of construction in European and non-European countries we would like to
share our long-standing practical experience with the students. Furthermore, we offer the possibility
of dual system studies in different forms. For our students, it often means the chance to gain practical
work experience in one of our infrastructure projects in Africa.

At the universities in our project countries we also award scholarships and offer to the student the
possibility to get to know our company and the local projects in the frame of a work placement.
For example, we were also involved in the Université des Sciences et Techniques de Masuku in Franceville, Gabon.

In addition, we train our local staff in various administrative and technical areas within our projects. 
This training is often combined with training periods at our headquarters in Nuremberg.
